My go to pancake recipe, no-need for any added sugar, just serve with honey or pure maple syrup! You can have these pancakes with sweet fruits or take the savoury path with some fried eggs.
What you need:
- 3/4 cup milk + 1 tbsp vinegar (mix and set aside for 5 minutes)
- 2tbsp butter, melted
- 1cup self raising flour
- 1tsp baking powder
- 1tsp baking soda
- Once the milk has sit in with the vinegar for at least 5minutes, add all the other ingredients in the bowl. Mix well until batter is smooth.
- Heat up a frying pan and spray a light coat of olive oil on medium heat.
- When pan is hot, spoon a ladle-full of batter on the pan. Wait until all bubbles have formed and popped/disappeared then flip the pancake. Watch those pancake rise to form its fluffy texture!!
