Tuna Pastry Roll

We all start judging food taste with our eyes or nose first. So if something doesn’t look appealing or smells of, then kids will most likely won’t even try it. This tuna pastry roll is the perfect shape and size (and can be made to any shape/size your creativity tells you). Perfect for lunch boxes!

What you need:

  • Thawed out puff pastry
  • Tin of tuna mix with peas, corn and egg (reserve 1tbsp egg for brushing)

How to:

  • Cut up puff pastry to any shape/size you desire. For a braided pastry, cut pastry to rectangle pieces
  • Place tuna mix on the pastry. For braided pastry, place tuna mix in middle of pastry, cut strips on either sides of the pastry. Braid the pastry close over the tuna mix.
  • Brush egg on the pastries. Bake pastries for 20minutes on 180degrees celsius oven or until golden brown.
