Steamed Fish Parcels

Get a white fish, I use basa fillets (which I later found out to be catfish variety from Vietnam). Cut a sheet of aluminium foil and line it with baking/wax paper.

What you need for each parcel:

  • White fish fillet
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar
  • 0.5cm ginger cubed small
  • Green beans (about 8-12 strings)
  • Field Mushroom (1-2)
  • Cherry tomatoes (1-2)

How to:

  • Top and tail string beans and place on prepared aluminium/wax paper, then add fish, butter, soy sauce, vinegar, ginger, mushroom and tomatoes
  • Close the parcel tightly to ensure the steam stays in the parcel
  • Place in pre-heated oven 200degrees celcius for 15-20mins
  • Serve over rice
